The North Shore Exponent endorses the recall of State Senator Jim Sullivan

Today, I am very happy to hear that CRG Network just announced that there is a recall effort beginning to form to oust one term State Senator Jim Sullivan (D-West Allis, Wauwatosa, West Milwaukee, 5th District).

A big reason that triggered the recall was Senator Sullivan’s support for the statewide smoking ban as now Senator Sullivan joins State Senator John Lehman as the second Wisconsin State Senator under the threat of a recall along with Governor Doyle.  Both Senator Sullivan and Senator Lehman are top pick-up targets for the GOP in order to regain the Senate and these two seats right now can be an excellent pick-up for conservatives and pave the way for candidates like Robin Vos to run.

Senator Sullivan under the threat of a recall shows that he has not been an active state senator on the ground as the Democrat senator has not passed or rarely introduced a substantive piece of legislation in the State Senate.  Many groups including Americans for Prosperity give Senator Sullivan low ratings as he represents a moderate to conservative district.

Constituents in both the 5th and 21st senate districts must get involved to make this successful as right now the people of Wisconsin are demanding conservative change.

  1. Mike Baranowski says:

If there is anyway I can help in the organization or petition circulation in the recall of Senator Jim Sullivan; please contact me.

I am already a member of the “Recall Doyle” effort.

    Thanks
