Phil Kerpen of Americans for Prosperity declares Netroots is down, RightOnline is up in attendance

Blogging from Pittsburgh

Phil Kerpen from Americans for Prosperity enthusiastically talked to activists at RightOnline and has said that the right is just about closing the gap in just two short years as Kerpen declared that attendance at RightOnline has increased while Netroots attendance has decreased.

Kerpen also talked on the health care reform bill.  Kerpen said to activists that it is important to kill the whole bill not just the public option.  Kerpen has said without the public option, “ the government will engage in corporate fascism” in mandating businesses to issue health insurance to their employees or pay a fine.

Also, Kerpen rebutted back at claims from MSNBC and CNN that Americans for Prosperity is a front for the drug and the insurance companies.  Kerpen dismissed the claims as insurance companies and drug companies are lobbying hard for a piece of the public’s pie as many insurance companies will reap in guaranteed profits if health reform passes.

Lastly, Kerpen talked to activists that it is important to stay on the offensive as the center right side has been maintaining the offensive on the issues of health care and card check.
