BREAKING NEWS: Lawton Drops out of Governor’s Race, Wisconsin Dems in Serious Trouble

LtGovLawton_cGood Morning, news just came out of Madison that WisPolitics.com reported that Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton has dropped out of the race for Governor for personal reasons.  This is a big shocker that has affected the Wisconsin Democratic Party.  Now, the party is scrambling for a candidate for Governor for their party in the 2010 elections.   The news comes days after the Washington Post reported possible major divisions in the DNC after throwing Virginia Democrat nominee Creigh Deeds under the bus over a lackluster campaign.

Still, there has been no word if Tom Barrett will be running for Governor.  Later today, I will have up about the impacts of the  news in Virginia and with Barbara Lawton could be a big boost for outgoing Governor Jim Doyle.

Dude, what could the VA race possibly have to do with Lawton’s decision? I know that at Band Camp they tell you to keep hitting the national buttons but, seriously Dude, try to focus.

    • Kyle Maichle says:

Elections have consequences. The VA election has serious consequences coming for Obama. After he threw Creigh Deeds under the bus he wants to avoid the consequences. But, its going to happen in VA with Bob McDonnell up +17. If you read Friday’s Washington Post online its was a front page story.

Now here is one thing to consider, VA and NJ set the tone for next year. If Obama loses in VA and NJ, he’s got another thing coming: the DNC is falling apart.
